The battle continues

Captain's log, stardate 2006.189: The "spam war" has heated up again. ~MonteRocha is leaving pairs of spam comments on random stuff by random people. The first comment is a short porn story, likely fabricated. The second comment contains their trademark(s): an ASCII pen0r and a person ripping their ass open, surrounded by the word "goatsex". At the bottom, it says "a witnessx production [link]". I am NOT responsible for these comments. These losers have a vendetta of sorts against me, and apparently will stop at nothing to force me off DA. They're persistent, I'll give them that. But I am not giving in.

Explanations

Captain's log, stardate 2006.187: To all those who got rude comments from !VVitnessX, I am sorry that person bothered you. They have/had a vendetta of sorts against me, and were attempting to make me look bad. They have failed in that attempt. I have been through far worse in real life, so this is nothing.

I have also found out just who is responsible for this entire mess. A reliable source tells me that they are a bunch of hackers who targeted DA for no real reason. To quote my source, "...they are like most hackers/crackers bored and hit popular sites". Unfortunately, they are somewhat adept at evading IP bans, so it is not over yet

On another note, it occcurs to me that I haven't fully explained what is in my gallery, so I will do so now. Yes, most of it is screenshots; there is a reason for this. Most of them depict modifications I have made to Star Trek Armada II. However, these mods were NOT simply replacing the 3D models. I modified the .odf files for certain ships/stations, created my own "hero ships", ported some ships over from Armada I, edited maps, changed descriptions, and even recorded new voiceovers! None of it was easy, I can assure you. Armada II is NOT an easy game to mod, and, if you don't know what you're doing, you can screw up big time. One thing I do NOT take any credit for are the 3D models for the Galaxy, Enterprise, and New York; those were made by 3D modelers elsewhere on the internet, and I thank them for making the models available for download by Armada II players. These programming changes, coupled with my imagination, are the genesis behind my gallery. In the future, I will post stuff I did myself.

As far as my favs are concerned, though, what I like is MY business. I'm not asking anyone to look at my favs, nor do I intend to start doing so. And, for the record, it's not ALL boobs.

It continues

Captain's log, stardate 2006.186: In order to limit the amount of "attacks" this spammer throws at me, I have disabled the comments on my entire gallery. I don't know why this person is trying to ruin the internet, but I won't stand idly by and let them do it.

Also, I believe I have figured out a timeline of events for this mess. Whoever they are, they are the person responsible for hacking a number of accounts, including !Alexanders-Dream and !kurama-kuronue. After those accounts were banned (at the request of their original owners), along with the spammer's own account of !AllyAss, they created the accounts of !DarinThompson, !TracyDamonRiggs, and !BernieDarrellYang, though probably not in that order. Those accounts were eventually banned, leading to the creation of !MackMcfarland and, now, ~TreyBryant. I do not know if this will ever stop, but I'm not holding my breath. I also have reason to believe they created the account of ~SonOfAllyAss, even though THAT one got spammed too. Keep in mind that that is my opinion, and mine alone, and that I could be wrong.

On our own, plus driving impressions

Captain's log, stardate 2006.179: Well, my parents are on their way to Connecticut, having decided to entrust the house to me and my sister. The temptation to have friends over is great, and I probably will invite someone over, but not before procuring certain things.

I finally got a chance to experience a rear-wheel-drive car today, when my dad let me take the helm of his company car so we could go to JJC to drop off some financial aid stuff. It felt different, to be sure. The sensation of being pushed, rather than being pulled, like a front-wheel-drive car, was a refreshing change. The "oomph" of the engine was also greater, though that could be attributed to the fact that the car has a positive displacement supercharger on the engine. I look forward to driving it again.
